SKNREHAB

As a freelance website designer I was approached by my client to design and build a website for their company, SKN Rehab.

Recently formed, the company pursued a responsible approach of investing in the quality of their core products and brand. The next step was to create a web presence – conveying brand identity, range of services, products and an online shop.

I was approached as a consultant to make recommendations on; website approach (html vs php) platform, feasibility, design and development.

My recommendation was to adopt WordPress as a robust and scalable platform. The next option was to bolt on WooCommerce, allowing the renowned blogging platform to become as e-commerce engine. Then on to suggesting a fairly bullet proof starter theme which could be readily customised – Bootstrap for WordPress.

My suggestions were taken onboard and the process was agreed – I created an initial concept to help gather interest & buy-in from the business owners. Once this was accepted I proceeded to customise and built their mobile first e-commerce site.
